So I have been going to Baguio several times and now is the only time I decided to make a blog about my travel. For those who are first timers and planning to go to Baguio City, this article will be very useful to you.
Baguio City is one of the most sought after vacation destinations today and without further ado, I will start my quickie tips and how was my travel experience.
BUS RIDE!
Taken at Tarlac Stop Over |
We took a bus from Victory Liner Cubao at around 2:00pm and departed around 2:30pm. By the way, this one was the regular air conditioned bus heading to Baguio. It was a 5-4hourish travel since buses today take a lot of tolls to make your travel faster. There were 3 stop overs:
- First will be around Pampanga
- Around Tarlac
- And finally Pangasinan (One hour travel time 'till you reach Baguio! Yayy :)

Comfort rooms are clean but they aren't free, you have to pay 5pesos with free tissue. Haha! Works fine for me, since it is clean.
We arrived at Baguio Bus Terminal at around 7:00pm. It is a walking distance from SM Baguio where you can likely take dinner before you head to your hotel or transient.
We went at Baguio during Panagbenga Festival 2015 so a lot of hotels and transients are full!! Expect it dear! When you are coming to Baguio during peak seasons, expect that most of them are fully booked. Luckily, we have planned this trip and booked our hotel before our arrival. Check-in time was 2:00pm, but it's okay that we arrived late but prepared. :p
First night, we stayed on a very nice and cozy transient:
We got a decent hotel with a very decent price for a peak season stay. You can check our hotel experience here: A Lazy heart at a Cozy Place (Baguio Hotel And Transient Review)
Rates are also posted. :)
